Dear Parents,
Let's face it, the world is running at a faster pace than many of us are comfortable navigating. The speed of technological advancements and global connectivity can be overwhelming but it is important to find a balance between leveraging these tools with managing the challenges they bring.
One way to do this is to focus on simple ways that don't inudate our children with too much stimulus. Instead, we can foster a supportive environment where children can explore their creativity and curiosity at their own pace. We can drop in ideas that stimulate wonder and conversation and encourage sharing their own ideas rather than reciting ones from others. By focusing on these simple conversation starters and activities we can take the time to bond with our children, ensuring that they, as well as ourselves, can thrive in this fast-paced and exciting world.

Here are some ideas that focus on wonder and curiosity to help begin the process of Critical Thinking.

Wishing you all the best exploring with your families,
Kim

Is technology hindering our children’s’ authentic voice?

By Kim Gillingham I will admit that I grew up in a time without the impact of social media. I remember my first phone that was no longer attached to the wall and the excitement of being able to move 10 feet from the phone dock. This experience is most likely true for many adults today
